Weigh in Wednesday

I don't really have much to say this week. Still working out every day (taking a night off tonight.) Still not losing weight. My cardio has been less than spectacular this week. I haven't been able to run more than a mile before I have to take a break. Wow, Negative Nancy over here. I just feel like I'm starting to lose motivation because I'm not seeing results. I work out hard and eat healthy, yet I don't feel or look hardly any better than I did when I sat on my ass and ate shitty. How is that possible?? Whatever. I just need to stop thinking negative!

On the plus side! I found my two new favorite foods to make.

I just saute these bad boys in olive oil and fresh garlic with a little Nature's Seasoning...so freaking good

Sweet potato, ground turkey, corn, and black beans. How can you go wrong?
I've also been adding fruit to my water
Yummy
Rayce and I are going to start tracking everything we eat, how we sleep, how much water we drink...everything. To see how it effects our workouts. We can't seem to be consistent with them. We'll have amazing days where we feel great and have really good workouts and then we have days where we don't even want to go to the gym. And when we do we have shitty work outs. This being healthy thing is hard work!

Weigh in Wednesday

It's that time again!! (the only time I blog...whoops)

This week has been pretty good, even though I haven't lost any el bees. Annoying.

Last Thursday I ran jogged 2 miles without stopping. This probably doesn't seem like anything too exciting to a lot of people but to me it's huge. I started trying to run just as a form of cardio because I want to lose weight...obviously. But now it's become a challenge and a goal to work towards. I want to "become a runner." Whatever that means, I guess we'll find out.

My two goals with this are to do a 5k and to be able to just go for a run outside. I attempted my first outside run on Sunday. I would guess I jogged half and walked half. I have no idea how far I went and it was at my aunt and uncle's house in Illinois so I can't map it to figure it out. It doesn't even matter...at least I did some sweating!

Even with the progress I've made...sometimes I still get really frustrated that the results aren't happening very fast at all. When we started this whole journey in the beginning of January I had goals. I didn't make those goals. I told myself that I wanted to lose 10 pounds by Valentine's Day. I still haven't even lost 10 pounds, not even close! I told myself that I was going to wear a bikini this summer and feel decently good in it. Yeah...from the way things have been going that's not happening. BUT...I'm staying positive and I'm going to keep working my ass off.

Really need to start working my arms hard. I'm not happy with my progress, or lack of progress in my arms.

I feel like the oldest one (orange) is the best one...weird.

I figured it'd be good for me to post some "fat pics" and some "goal pics." My fat pics are from when I was my biggest...2008-2009. Which is weird to be because I didn't weigh hardly any more then than I do now. My goal pics are from late 2009-2010 when I was about 160-165ish. I would be so happy if I could look like that again.

I definitely store fat in my face

I just look like I feel fat and uncomfortable in this pic. With the whole hand on my hip so my arm fat is less noticable. Ugh.

These pics were on Spring break 2010. I spent a week in a bikini and didn't hate it. For the first time ever. I'll get back there...

Still have that belly pouch but I felt SO GOOD. And looked the best I'd ever looked. Happy girl.

Nostalgia going on here...so fun. And I was confident, which was the best part.

I'm coming for you 160!
