His: I don't think you have any

Her: I can't think of any either

What is the greatest family vacation you went on as a kid?

His: Elkhart duhhh. (Elkhart Lake, WI)

Her:  We didn't go on many. The only one I really remember is Wilmington Beach, NC when I was like 16

Would you want to live in the city, country, or beach?

His: Country....by a city, near a beach.

Her: Sounds good to me!

How do you handle farting in front of each other?

His: Ha..hahaha. I do it freely.

Her: He farts all the time. I do it...just quietly ;) haha

What is your favorite type of cake?

His: A good white cake with some good frosting

Her: Strawberry funfetti...I'm 6 years old it's ok

What is the first thing you do when you get home from work?

His: Change clothes

Her: Take off my pants. I hate pants

What is a phrase or word your other half frequently says?

His: "That's what I always say"

Her: "Hey, how doin" "What happened" (in a funny weird voice) usually after he farts and our house smells like poop

Did you exaggerate anything when you were first dating?

His: Nope, you already knew me

Her: Yep, we knew each other for years before we started dating so none of that funny business

Who is your other half as a superhero?

His: Superwoman....cause you're super. (ha...)

Her: Ugh...Batman? Because Christian Bale is sexy and so is Rayce?

1. Name 4 jobs you've had in your life.

 Right now I work in the nursery at a daycare. I love all my babies but it does get stressful with 13 babies and only 3 adults.

 Nanny. Loved it. I got to see these gorgeous faces everyday.

 

 

 At the same time I was nannying I worked as a hostess at a restaurant in Raleigh. This is where I met some really awesome friends that I miss dearly!

 In high school I made pizza at a local bar/restaurant. It was glamorous...but not even a little bit.

Ramblings

Want to see my almost attempt at doing one of those cute "outfit post" things that all the cool bloggers do?

 

 

Yep, that's it.

 

I didn't know what to do. I told Rayce that all the other bloggers do all these poses and everything and when it came down to it all I could do was put my hands on my hips and smile like an idiot. And turn my feet inward...I have no idea. I think it's safe to say I won't be doing any outfit posts. Especially since this is the extent of me getting "dressed up." I'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl...and if at all possible I'll probably substitute the jeans for sweatpants.

 

We met my friend Miranda and her daughter, Kenzie for lunch. It's not an easy task getting a 2 year old to take a picture...

 

 

I don't get to see or spend nearly enough time with Kenzie Jo...but I love her to death and I miss her so much! She is so much fun (and a lot of attitude)...

 

 

 

 

But now that she's a bit older but I can't help but miss the days when she was like this

Scavenger hunt 2012!!

So for the past couple of years two of our friends from back home have put together a list of riduculous and some quite inappropriate things and 50-60 people get on teams and go on a scavenger hunt! They give everything on the list a point value and give us 3 hours to get as many points as we can. This year was the first time I participated and it was so much fun!!

 

1. Someone on the team shave their head...of course my boyfriend volunteered. It's significantly less disgusting than I thought it would be :)

 

 

2. Kiss an animal on the lips...not a cat or dog (we had to redo this one because I'm not kissing this little guy's lips)

 

 

 3. Picture of someone standing in the shower fully clothed with the water on

 

 

4. Picture of someone standing in a body of water. He's standing in the Wapsipinican River which was probably about 40 degrees. I couldn't get my flash to work so he kept having to get in and out of the water...ha I felt a little bad.

 

 

 BONUS: Get a tattoo of the words "scavenger hunt" somewhere on your body. This was worth 10 points. And yes, this is an actual tattoo. And yes, this is being done in someone's house...on his ass. Bent over Rayce's lap. What are friends for?

10. Put a political sign in Keith Walker's yard. Bonus point if you get a picture with Keith and the sign.

 13. Find a woman whose hair is shorter than everyone on your team's hair. Rayce's mom...but her hair is totally longer than the guy's hair

 16. Licking a nipple ring. Right before our time was up we didn't have this one done...so what do they do? Get a safety pin and pierce Jared's nipple. I'm sure it's nice and infected now.

 

There were more that didn't require pictures because we brought them back to the judges like find indian corn, a bag of unopened chips, a scoop shovel, a mushroom, a live bug (that someone had to eat in front of the judges) and some other things that I can't think of now.

 

It might sound crazy to people that don't know us or anyone that participated...but I promise, it's not even weird at all. It was a really good time to hang out and get weird with some good friends!
